The national standards of stainless steel bellows in China mainly include the following:
GB/T 12777-2008: This standard covers the names and classifications, materials and manufacturing processes, technical requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of stainless steel bellows. It emphasizes that stainless steel bellows should have good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, sealing, fatigue resistance and high temperature resistance to ensure the quality and reliability of products.
GB/T 28713.2-2012: This standard specifies basic parameters and technical requirements for austenitic stainless steel bellows for shell and tube heat exchangers. It is suitable for occasions where the nominal pressure is not greater than 4.0MPa, the working temperature is higher than-20℃ and lower than 450℃, and the working medium is suitable for austenitic stainless steel.
GB/T 41317-2022: This is an updated national standard regarding metal corrugated pipes, especially stainless steel corrugated hoses, used in the connection of household gas stoves to pipes. It replaces the previous industry standard CJ/T 197-2010 and expands the scope to include ultra-flexible corrugated hoses that can be connected to mobile gas-fired appliances and gas equipment.
These standards specify the dimensions, materials, performance indicators, test methods and quality control processes of stainless steel corrugated pipes in detail, ensuring that the products meet the safety and performance requirements of industrial and civil fields.
When selecting and using stainless steel bellows, the latest national standards should be followed to ensure product compliance and safety. In practical applications, attention should also be paid to the compatibility with local standards or industry standards, and whether it needs to pass third-party certification or inspection.
